Arrival: Dakar (Senegal)
Departure: Banjul (Gambia)
Day 1 – Arrival in Dakar / Toubab Dialao
Arrival in Dakar and transfer to the coastal village of Toubab Dialao. Time to settle in, relax and enjoy a first shared dinner.
Day 2 – Toubab Dialao
A slow day at the ocean. Relax on the beach, explore the artistic village, enjoy cafés and local life.
Day 3 – Travel to Niokolo-Koba Region
Early departure inland towards Tambacounda. Long scenic drive towards the national park area with stops along the way.
Day 4 – Safari & Arrival in Kédougou
Morning safari in Niokolo-Koba National Park with local guide. Continue to Kédougou in the afternoon.
Day 5 – Waterfalls & Mountain Village (Kounsy)
Visit Cascade Kafory, hike through nature and continue to a remote mountain village. Overnight in a local lodge.
Day 6 – Culture & Festival in Kédougou
Village walk in the morning before returning to Kédougou. Experience a local cultural festival with music, dance and traditions.
Day 7 – Dindefelo Waterfall & Hiking
Explore one of Senegal’s most beautiful waterfalls. Hike into the surrounding mountains and stay in a local lodge.
Day 8 – Cave & Return to Tambacounda
Visit a hidden cave, the dental hills and final nature spots before driving back towards Tambacounda.
Day 9 – Crossing into Gambia / Janjanbureh
Cross the border into The Gambia and continue to Janjanbureh. Explore the village and relax by the river.
Day 10 – River Safari & Stone Circles
Boat trip to spot chimpanzees and hippos. Visit the UNESCO Stone Circles.
Day 11 – Return to the Coast
Drive back to the Gambian coast. Check into a beach lodge and enjoy sunset by the ocean.
Day 12–13 – Beach & Relaxation
Free days at the beach. Optional activities like boat trips, massages or simply relaxing.
Day 14 – Departure
Transfer to Banjul airport and departure.
